Single-Appointment Dental Care

Most dental restoration methods require more than one visit to the dentist. This means that on the first visit, you get an injection of anesthesia, your tooth prepped, an impression taken, and a temporary restoration placed. Your second appointment is a couple of weeks later when you get another injection, have the temporary removed, and have your permanent restoration put in place. With CEREC, there’s no need for a second visit! The entire procedure is completed from start to finish in one session with no need for a temporary replacement.

A CEREC tooth restoration is more than just convenient; it’s healthy. Years ago, dentists had limited options to repair decaying or damaged teeth other than amalgam, gold, and other metals. With CEREC, we use strong, tooth-colored ceramic to restore a natural strength and beauty. These materials closely match a natural tooth. This means when you eat something hot, then drink something cold, the restoration expands and contracts at the same rate as the real tooth, preventing cracking. Additionally, the materials are chemically bonded to your tooth, preserving as much of the healthy tooth tissue as possible while providing you with the strongest restoration possible.

Restoring Perfect Smiles

Perfect crowns and fillings are only the start of what CEREC can do. We are capable of producing any single-tooth restoration. Chipped or discolored teeth can be repaired beautifully with anterior crowns or veneers.

Veneers

Thin porcelain facings that cover the front side of teeth. Used cosmetically to change the length, color and shape of teeth.

Bridges

Used to replace missing teeth when sufficient “anchor” teeth are available on each side of the gap. Numerous systems are available, including fiber-reinforced ceramics, Zirconium-based ceramics and porcelain fused to metal bridges.
